Kibble size
Food is amazing. I’ve used many different cat foods in the past that have been good, but I enjoy customizing the kibble enrichments and oils for a more personal touch to my 2 female cats. At first, it has helped tremendously reduce any hairballs due to the extra oils and leaves their coat beautiful and shiny. However, due to the size of the kibble, I have noticed dramatic weight loss in my cats. I do believe the cat kibble is the same size as the dog kibble, which makes it a bit harder for the cats to eat due to the size of their mouths. I have found my 2 girls having to break the kibble down first into smaller pieces, and then after all that work they don’t even want to eat anymore, or eat very little. I had to start adding protein boosters to plump up their body fat a bit. I would love to give the food a 5 because I do feel it’s deserved, but until we can change the size of the kibble, I don’t feel I will buy anymore.
